Ciarra Rawleigh

Studio Manager - Fiber Artist - Seamstress

Ciarra is a seamstress, a fiber artist, and the Studio Manager of Sanctuary.

Educated in Biology and Anthropology at Syracuse University, she brings curiosity and compassion about the world and all of its inhabitants into everything she does. She likes using embroidery and appliqué to explore her favorite subjects of illness, death, sexuality, and madness.

She always enjoys helping people craft an image they feel proud of and is available to alter any vintage clothes purchased at Sanctuary. Her artwork is also available for sale.

Outside of the studio, she serves as Vice President of the Fiberarts Guild of Pittsburgh. She also serves on the Advisory Board for Rabbit Wranglers, for which she fosters companion rabbits with medical and behavioral special needs. She has one adopted rabbit named Obsidian, whom she adores.
