For the position of Studio Manager /Assistant

Studio Manager



  • Experience: in an office/front desk environment

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent (minimum)

  • Microsoft Office: 1 year

  • Language: fluent in English

  • Skills:

    • Attention to detail

    • Ability to multitask

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

    • Flexibility, adaptability, creativity and willingness to do what it takes to ensure tasks are completed

    • Social media knowledge (Instagram, Facebook)

  • Some retail experience preferred, but not required

  • Some knowledge of antiques, vintage clothing, art or tattoos preferred, but not required


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Checking and composing emails

  • Checking voicemails

  • Managing appointment calendar and waitlist (scheduling, confirming appts., etc.)

  • Review orders received, prepare shipments

  • Restocking inventory

  • Organizing and pricing merchandise

  • Engaging with customers

  • Handle cash and credit card transactions while properly maintaining a cash drawer

  • Checking-in clients and yoga attendees

  • Preparing consent forms and filing paperwork

  • Handling questions or comments on Facebook, Instagram or other social media apps

  • Creating social media content

  • Preparing promotional material (pulling, pricing, measuring upcoming seasonal clothing)

  • Organizing and planning promotional events, art shows, vender markets

  • Assisting in maintaining a clean and orderly studio

  • Some cold calling waitlist clients to book last minute appointments


This is NOT a work from home job and this is not an tattoo apprenticeship.

($12-15) Compensation is based on skills, qualifications, and experience.

Flexible hours:

  • 10-6 PM Mon-Fri

  • 10-4 PM Sat

  • Closed Sun


20-30 weekly hours, potentially full time
